Setup>Tank>Siphon Sets
This screen lets you define siphon
m
anifolded sets, which are two or
m
ore tanks connected
by a
m
anifold. Typically, with a 2” dia
m
eter
m
anifold pipe and with the proper vacuu
m
on the
line, a syste
m
can keep product flowing fro
m
one tank to another.
An exa

This setup allows roughly the sa

ount of product in both tanks. This application is typi-
cally used in large truck stops or high throughput tanks for unleaded fuel.

Reporting When Using Siphon Sets
When using siphon
m
anifold sets, the console will print
m
ul-
tiple reports (one for each tank in the siphon set). To avoid
m
ultiple reports, configure the print task using an event-
based trigger that references the first tank listed in the
siphon set. See Actions>Help>Understanding Auto
m
atic
Events for infor
m
ation about event-based triggers.
When you configure a print task using this
m
ethod, the Last
Delivery Report includes a su
mm
ation for all tanks in the
siphon set.
