This screen lets you set up how often Inventory History reports are generated.
Reporting Interval

This screen lets you setup the shift schedule and the shift close

ethod. Shifts are used as
planning ti
m
e periods for activities like reconciliation and BIR reporting.
If shifts are enabled, a new shift inventory report will be created and will include the shift

ber. You can also access current or historical reports of shifts.
Shift Close Method
Timed
• The console will start and stop shifts auto
m
atically without any user action.
• You need to enter at least one shift ti
m
e field (see Shift Ti
m
es field below).
• When set to ti
m
ed, a
m
anual shift close will close the shift for ALL tanks, but the tank(s)
m
ust be idle before a shift can close. Once a ti
m
ed shift has been closed, no other shift can
be closed until the shift duration ends.
Manual
• You close a shift directly on the console by going to Actions > Close Shift. Each ti
m
e you
close a shift directly, the console considers the current shift over, and the next shift has
started.
• You
m
ust wait a
m
ini
m

of two hours between the close
of each
m
anual shift. If you try to close a shift sooner, a
warning
m
essage displays.
• BIR
m
anual shift close can be applied to all tanks or to an
individual tank. The BIR tank will i

ediately close when
the operator

akes the request. There is no waiting or

ust be closed within
