Note: Changes made using the utility are temporary unless you save the entire
setup as a custom configuration. In other words, adjustments made here are
treated the same way that control panel adjustments are treated if you neglect to
press and hold the Menu Select knob until you heard the “Beep”.
As long as the Scaler is powered up, the changes are retained but if power is lost
or if a subsequent change is made, the change made using the utility will be lost.
Keep this in mind and if you do need to make a change permanent either save
the configuration using the utility’s configuration save/load capability or make the
change using the Menu Select knob and save it by pressing and holding the
Knob until you hear the “Beep”. You’ll then need to press the Read button on the
utility to re-sync the utility to the Scaler.
