DANGER
Hazardous voltage
Improper installation can cause an electrical shock or start fire.
•
Ensure that the pump socket is earthed.
•
Ensure that the supply voltage and frequency corresponds to the pump label.
•
Do NOT lay cables in walking areas.
•
Electrical installation must be carried out correctly using waterproof ports.
•
Secure the connection between pumps and tubing by using a fastening strap or other safety
devices.
•
Ensure that the tubing has a max. 10m length.
•
If the mains cable is damaged, then repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by suitably
qualified personnel ONLY.

Tube connection to T-piece
The tubing of the vacuum pump (Air IN) is connected via a T-piece to the pressure control valve.
Upstream the T-piece is connected to the "Flow OUT" inlet (see Fig. 15) of the Calorimetry Control
Unit via an air protection filter.
Ensure that tubing isn´t rough, kinked, tightly bent and that it is undamaged.
NOTICE
- Instrument damage!
The opening for the pressure release of the pressure control valve must not be allowed to
become dirty, as this could limit or prevent its functioning.
•
Only operate a pressure control valve that isn´t dirty.
•
When cleaning, ensure that no water or any other liquids enter the valve.
