Connect the discharge of the valve assem bly to the vent
line connected to the outdoors.
N ot e: M ake sure there are no crosses

22.86 cm (9 in.) of valve discharge. Refer to
ASHRAE Standard 15, national, state, and local
codes for additional requirem ents on piping
rupture disk and relief valve vent lines.
