at the Configuration menu to view or change SNMP
community strings. The community strings may also be viewed or
changed through
Total Control Manager/SNMP software.
SNMP Community Strings
1 SNMP Read-Only (Public) Community String
2 SNMP Read-Write (Private) Community String
Enter menu selection and press Return or press Esc to
exit.

The SNMP community strings restrict SNMP access to the MP/16.
Consult your SNMP manager software for information on using
community strings.
SNMP Read-Only (Public) Community String

to view or change the Read-Only community string.

to view or change the Read-Write community string.
6—Reset Authorized Access List
The Authorized Access list is a list of IP addresses that are allowed
to manage the MP/16. The Autorized Access list is set through
Total Control Manager/SNMP software.
When you enter 6 at the Configuration menu, the list is cleared.
This permits any IP address to access the MP/16 until a restricted
set of user addresses is once again defined.
