Control Front Panel Overview

System Menu

The System menu contains three functions:

Input Select, ID, and Access Password.

The Input Select function allows you to select the type of transport
stream input you intend to connect to the TDR7. The options are either

QPSK

for satellite signals or

RS422

for DVB–compliant transport

stream.

The ID function displays your TDR7 unique identification number.

The Access Password function allows you to lock or unlock the control
front panel. When the control front panel is locked, you can view
status displays and current configuration parameters, but you can’t
change them. Locking the control front panel prevents someone from
accidentally changing your configuration settings.

Complete instructions on locking and unlocking the control front
panel are detailed in Chapter 5 of this manual.

front panel to prevent someone from accidentally changing your
configuration settings. Whenever you need to change the unit
configuration, unlock the control front panel.
