Troubleshooting
In addition to the power–up self tests, the micro–controller performs
real–time monitoring of system conditions and displays faults with
the control front panel
Status
and
Fault
LED indicators. You can also
query the system on the status of faults using the Faults menu.
LED Indicators
The three LED indicators located on the
TDR7
control front panel are described
below:
STATUS
ON
The
Status
LED on the control front panel illuminates in green
when the demodulator, decoder, and transport stream are all locked.
OFF If the
Status
LED is not illuminated, at least one of the following
is unlocked: demodulator, decoder, or transport stream. Perform the
procedures described below in the
Troubleshooting Unlocked Status
section.
FAULT
ON
The
Fault
LED illuminates in red when one or more current faults
exist. To view the faults, select
Faults
from the main menus, then
select
Current
.
OFF If the Fault LED is not illuminated, no current faults exist.
POWER
ON
The
Power
LED illuminates in green when the unit is powered
on.
OFF If the
Power
LED is not illuminated, the unit is powered off or no
power is supplied.
