Solving Problems

NOTE: Processing Teletext Data

The

TDR7

only processes teletext data when the

TTO–6000

option module is installed and when the video format is in the
PAL mode. Additionally, teletext data will be included in the
video output stream only when the

VBI Mode

function is set to

On

.

NOTE: TTO FIFO Errors

If TTO FIFO error conditions occur more than three times within
60 seconds, the

TDR7

reduces the maximum number of teletext

data from 16 to 15 lines per field or from 32 to 31 lines per
frame.

Calculating the Intermediate Frequency

The LNB downconverter outputs an IF frequency, which is the DVB–

compliant modulated L–band carrier. The L–band carrier is the input to

the

TDR7 and is equal to the value of the RF frequency parameter minus

the value of the LO frequency parameter.
