Information Fields
The Information menu contains default fields as follows:

Mandatory fields are marked as

Cryoprotectant
– Enter the name of the cryoprotectant
being used with the samples. The name cannot exceed
30 characters and is an optional field.

Data tag
*
- Data tag is a mandatory data field.
Information entered is used as a prefix for the file name
where the run data is stored.

Must be alphanumeric values.

Special characters such as /,\,:, *,?,<,>, | are not
allowed.

Length must not exceed 20 characters.

Date/Time
*
- Date/Time will be taken from the computer
clock when the user initiates a run and stores run data. If
the date/time changes when a profile is running, it will not
affect the date/time that is stored in the run data. It will
save the time Profile Steps stamp when the user runs the
profile.

Media
- Enter information on the media being used with
the samples. It is an optional field.
•
Operator

- It is user login user name and is auto
populated.
•
Profile Name
*
- Indicates the profile selected (.prg file) by
the user for the run.
•
Sample type
- Enter the type of sample being frozen.
The description cannot exceed 20 characters.
Note:
Profile Name, Date/Time, and Operator fields are not
editable by user.

Profile steps display all the profile commands of a freezing
profile.
Notes

The Notes field is for additional pertinent information to be
saved with the profile run date. It is an optional field and
cannot exceed 1024 characters.
Chamber/Sample
Temperature

Shows temperature of Chamber and Sample in °C.
•
Data begins to populate once the Run has initiated.
Remaining Time

Populates remaining time every 3 seconds once Run is
initiated by the user, and when the profile achieves
temperature.
•
Calculates the remaining time from the second profile
step, after the WAIT step.
•
Calculates the time only for profiles having ramp and hold
steps.
•
Does not calculate during manual override, move to, loop
and jump functions.
•
Displays time in minutes and seconds.
