Flow Calibration

TVA2020 Instruction Manual

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Attach one of the red flow restrictors between the probe inlet and the
flow meter.

Press “

” for the second flow calibration point.

Adjust the pump power with the up and down arrows for a reading of 1
±.01 LPM at the probe inlet.

Typical values are 65-75% power with 1K-3K higher counts

Press

Enter=Accept

to save the Flow 2 values

Attach a second red flow restrictor, in line with the first, between the
probe inlet and flow meter.

” for the third flow calibration point.

Adjust the pump power with the up and down arrows for a reading of 1
±.01 LPM at the probe inlet.

Typical values are 85-95% power with 1K-3K higher counts.

Enter=Accept

to save the Flow 3 values.

to calculate the flow calibration values.

Note

The flow calibration values are stored in a file called

FACTORY.TXT. This file can be saved to a computer and reloaded to the
instrument if the flow calibration were to become corrupted. See the
section on flash file transfers.
