 This instrument uses

high voltages that can cause personal
injury. Before servicing, shut down the
instrument and disconnect the instrument
from line power. Keep the top cover on
while operating the instrument. Do not
remove protective covers from PCBs.

Chemical:

 This instrument might contain

hazardous chemicals. Wear gloves when
handling toxic, carcinogenic, mutagenic,
or corrosive or irritant chemicals. Use
approved containers and proper
procedures to dispose waste oil.

Heat:

 Before servicing the instrument,

allow any heated components to cool.

Fire:

Use care when operating the system

in the presence of flammable gases.

Eye Hazard:

 Eye damage could occur

from splattered chemicals or flying
particles. Wear safety glasses when
handling chemicals or servicing the
instrument.

General Hazard:

 A hazard is present that

is not included in the above categories.
Also, this symbol appears on the
instrument to refer the user to instructions
in this manual.
