3-6 OPERATING THE TESTER
The User Login window appears. Operator will be preselected in the User Login
window.
4 Select the Password field and type your password.
5 Move the cursor to the OK field using the mouse or arrow keys.
6 Select OK.
When you have successfully logged in, the menus available to you will be
highlighted. The default menu selections are Files, Edit, Run, Utility, and GFI. Not
all the functions within those menus are available to operators in the default mode.
Default operator permissions are Program Select, File Manipulation, Program
Execute, Node Probe Tools, and GFI Execute.
Test Boards Testing Interface
The testing interface consists of:
• Menu bar at the top of the testing interface screen
•
CRT Output window in the center of the screen
• Options buttons/Status Display on the upper of the two lines at the bottom of the screen
•
Board Name field and Test Control buttons on the lowest line of the screen
The Board Name field remains constant throughout the testing process. It displays the
name of the board and the type of test being run, either ICT (in-circuit test) or FST (fixture
self-test).
