The AC power distribution assembly for the Z1866, Z1860, Z1850, Z1840, Z1860M,
Z1850M, and Z1840M testers contains power line monitoring circuitry which ensures that
acceptable electrical voltages are maintained within the system.
Important: The LEDs are not safety indicators.

1 Power Input Connects AC power.
2 AC Mains Breaker 15 A circuit breaker to switch AC power on/off.
3 User Outlets Breaker 5 A circuit breaker for user unswitched outlets.
4 Wrist Strap Connects wrist strap or antistatic mats.
5 Ground Connects to ground.
6 Switched System Outlets Eight 120 VAC outlets provide AC distribution to
tester. When line monitor detects faults, it cuts power
to these outlets.
7 Fuse Line monitor board protection.
8 LEDs Green LED indicates AC power is on. It remains on as
long as AC is on. Red LED indicates detection of out-
of-range voltage or an emergency off signal.
9 Unswitched User Outlets Four 120 VAC outlets to provide unswitched power.
