AC Power Distribution
Assembly—Z1884
The AC power distribution assembly for Z1884 contains power line monitoring circuitry
which ensures that acceptable electrical voltages are maintained within the system.
Important: The LEDs are not safety indicators.
Item # Name Function
1 Ground Connects to ground.
2 Switched System Outlets Eight 120 VAC outlets provide AC distribution to tester.
When line monitor detects faults, it cuts power to these
outlets.
3 Power Input Connects AC power.
4 CB1 25 A AC Mains circuit breaker to switch AC power on/
off.
5 CB2 5 A user outlets circuit breaker for four user unswitched
outlets.
6 CB3 15 A circuit breaker to turns off switched outlets inside
the tester.
7 Unswitched User Outlets Four 120 VAC outlets to provide unswitched power.
8 Fuse Line monitor board protection.
9 LEDs Green LED indicates AC power is on. It remains on as
long as AC is on. Red LED indicates detection of out-
of-range voltage or an emergency off signal.
