DTG5078 & DTG5274 & DTG5334 Data Timing Generator User Manual 2

1.

Load the DTG5000 Series Product Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
The installer starts automatically. If it does not start, double-click the setup.exe
icon to start the installer.

2.

The message “Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Tektronix....” appears.
Click

Next

.

3.

The message “Choose Destination Location.” appears. Select the directory in
which you want to install the software. Click

Next

.

4.

The Select Program Folder appears. Select the folder in which to create a
shortcut icon of the program. Click

Next

.

5.

The message “Start Copying Files” appears. Click

Next

.

6.

The message “InstallShield Wizard Complete” appears. Click

Finish

.

Uninstalling DTG5000 Software

To uninstall the software, use the Add/Remove Programs dialog box in the Control
Panel. Log on the instrument with the administrator name to uninstall the
DTG5000 software.

Starting the DTG5000 Software in Offline Mode

To enable the software to start in Offline mode, use the DTG5000 Configuration
Utility for setup.

1.

If the DTG5000 software is running, press the

MENU

key and select

Exit

from

the File menu to exit the software.

2.

Press the

CTRL

+

ESC

keys to open the Start menu. Using the Up, Down,

Left, and/or Right arrow key, select

Programs / Tektronix / DTG5000 /

DTG5000 Configuration Utility

.

3.

Press the

ENTER

key to start the DTG5000 Configuration Utility. If the

window for the Online mode opens, select the

Offline

checkbox in the Mode

area.
