DTG5078 & DTG5274 & DTG5334 Data Timing Generator User Manual 2

Jump Mode

For the jump mode during sequence output, event jump and command jump are
available. You can select jump mode in the Data Generator mode only when the
sequencer mode is the Hardware Sequencer.

Jump Timing

Specifies the timing of the control jumps when a trigger for the event or command
jump is generated. When selection of the jump mode is enabled, you can also select
the jump timing.

Items

Description

Event jump

Jumps to the line that has the label defined with Event Jump To in the
sequence table, when an event is received. There are three acceptable
events: generation of the input signal to the front panel’s EVENT IN
connector, pressing the MANUAL EVENT button, and issuing remote
command TBAS:EIN:IMMEdiate.

Command jump

Jumps to the line that has the specified label, when remote command
TBAS:JUMP<label> is received. If the long delay is on, the command
jump is disabled.

Async

Jumps as soon as an event or remote command is received.

Sync

Jumps after completing output of the current block, when an event or
remote command is received.
For example, suppose that a line defines that Block1 repeats 10 times.
If an event occurs while the third run is in progress, control jumps after
completing data output of the block of the third run.
