Setting

Description

System Configuration

Specifies whether the Master-Slave operation can be performed, and (if
you select it) its configuration.

Master: If you do not specify that Master-Slave operation be performed,
select Master.

Master/Slave#1, Master/Slave#1/Slave#2: If you specify that
Master-Slave operation be performed, specifies as the master machine.
Select either according to the number of slave machines. For DTG5274,
you can use only one slave machine.

Slave: If you specify that Master-Slave operation be performed, specifies
as the slave machine.

Slaves

In Master-Slave operation, the slave machines are controlled via LAN.
Specify the names or IP addresses of the desired slave machines in the
DTG5000 Configuration Utility on the master machine.

Set by

Selects the way in which you will specify each slave machine.

Computer Name: Specifies that you will use the computer name. If you
select Computer Name, enter the name in the combo box under this
field. If you set it previously, you can use the Up and/or Down arrow key
to select the previously set name from the list. Selecting the Browse
button displays the network computer’s browser, where you can select
the slave machine.

IP Address: Specifies that you will use the IP address. If you select IP
Address, enter the address in the box under this field.

Remote Control

For DTG5000 Series, you can enable remote control only through GPIB
or LAN interface. Specify the GPIB configuration and control of a LAN
program in this box.
