Multiband compressor

Preset name

Description

Basic CD M.

Good for basic CD mastering

POP

Makes the sound quality more showy, bringing out low frequencies and especially
emphasizing high frequencies

POP Rock1

While bringing out the high frequencies, this also increases the impact of mid-range
frequencies

POP Rock2

Applies even more compression than the “POP Rock1” setting

Rock1

Brings out a full low end suitable for rock

Rock2

Emphasizes low and high frequencies even more than “Rock1” for a sound that stands out

Classic

Smooth compression suitable for classical music

Dance

Suitable for dance music, this preset emphasizes very high and very low frequencies

R&B Hip Hop

Good for R&B and hip-hop, this puts strong compression on high frequencies and adds punch
to low frequencies

Single band compressor

Preset name

Description

Basic Comp

Basic setting for evening out the level

Basic Limit

Basic limiter setting

Hard Comp

Results in fairly deep compression

Hard Limit

Deep limiter setting

If using the compressor causes the sound to become distorted, lower the gain of each band or adjust the mixdown so that the maximum
level does not quite cause the overload indicator to light. By doing this, you can achieve a good balance and effectively increase the
overall sound level.
