4.3.12  Configuring system parameters 

– System 

The

 section consists positions enabling 

configuring  the  user  interface  and  hardware 
components of the instrument.

4.3.12.1  Selecting the language of the user interface 

– Language 

The 

Language

 position opens a screen in which 

you  can  select  the  language  of  the  user 
interface.  

If  after  turning  on  the  instrument  an  unknown 
language  interface  appears  on  the  display,  you 
can 

reset 

the 

instrument 

with 

four 

<

Shift/ENTER/Alt/Start>

 

keys 

pressed 

together.  The  default  setup  with  the  English 
interface will be reinstalled.

4.3.12.2  Measurement auto start enabling 

– Auto Start 

The 

Auto Start 

position opens a screen in which

enable/disable

measurement  start  right  after  the  turning  the 
instrument on without pressing the 

<Start/Stop>

4.3.12.3  Checking the instrument powering 

– Battery 

The 

Battery 

position  opens  a  screen  with 

information  about  the  power  source:  internal 
battery  condition,  source  and  voltage  of  the 
external  power  supply.  The  instrument  can  be 
powered  from  an  external  DC  power  supply, 
from an external battery pack, from internal four 
AA  rechargeable  or  standard  alkaline  batteries 
or from the USB interface when its USB Device 
socket is connected via the SC 16 cable to a PC 
or other USB power.

4.3.12.4 

Programming the instrument’s internal Real Time Clock – Clock 

The 

Clock

 position opens a screen in which you 

can  programme  the  internal  Real Time Clock. 
This clock is displayed in the upper left corner.
