You can change the file name if you press the
<Save> key during the Measurement mode.
You will be shift to the Logger Setup screen in
which you can edit the name of the file.

The logger and wave file name can be changed
through the Menu.
Open the Logging position, in the
Logger Setup screen select the Logger Name
position and press the

key. Edit the name
and press <ENTER> to confirm edition.

From this moment the instrument will create files
based on the new name (in our case
M2.SVL ).

Saving setup files
Setup files can be saved manually by means of
Save Settings position of the main Settings
menu.

4.2.6 Files downloading and uploading
All files stored in the memory can be downloaded to a PC via the SvanNET web-service or the +
software. In this case, the instrument should be connected to the PC via the Internet (see Chapter
6.3.4 and
+ User Guide) or via the SC 16 USB cable (see + User Guide).

The instrument can be easily configured
manually using the
Menu functionality. The
main Menu screen is opened with the
<Menu> key.
The main Menu list contains positions, which
can be hidden depending on settings in the
Application list:

allowing to calibrate instrument’s channels;
Application allowing to define application standard and other measurements;
Building Type Criterion allowing to check or to edit the criterion curve;
Human Vibration allowing to define weighting filters for three axes;
Sound allowing to set parameters for sound measurements;
