– Delete
The

position is used for deleting files from
the instrument’s memory.

select the signal recording file you would like to
delete and press

4.3.10.3 Deleting all saved files
– Delete All
The
Delete
position is used for deleting all files
of certain type from the instrument’s memory.
The
Delete
position opens a screen with three
positions which you can select/deselect:
Logger Files

Setup Files
and
Wave Files
.

To delete all files of one type, select the required
positions with the ◄ / ► key and press
<ENTER>

The instrument will require confirmation of the
performed operation.

4.3.10.4 Memory defragmentation
– Defragmentation
All new files are saved starting from the beginning of the free memory space. The memory occupied by the
deleted file, provided that the file was not the last one, remains unused for the next file saving. After the removing
a file the memory space becomes discontinuous, with unused parts, which cannot be utilized in the future.
The situation changes after the process called defragmentation. During this process the files saved in the files
memory are moved in order to obtain minimum continuous occupied space.
