In the case
Human Vibration
measurements
are selected you can switch off the PPV
measurements choosing
Off
in the
Standard
position. In this case your SVAN 958AG will work
as a Human vibration and optionally as a Sound
measuring device.

Note: When Standard is Off, the Human Vibration option is always switched on!
If you can’t find the vibration standard on the list of implemented ones, you can always input customized values
to create a criterion curve based on FFT or 1/3 octave (RMS, PEAK or MAX).
In this case, select the
User
standard and define
the type of
Spectrum
:
FFT VEL
,
1/3 ACC
or
1/3 VEL
.
For the
1/3 ACC
or
1/3 VEL
spectrum you
should select
Result
:
Peak
,
Max
or
RMS
.

For the
User
standard the
Building Type
position is skipped, because there are no predefined criterion curves.
You should create the criterion curve by yourself in the
Building Type Criterion
screen.

For that standards which differentiate building
types,
additional
Building Type Criterion
position appears in the
Menu
list.

The
Building Type Criterion
position opens a
screen with segments of the criterion curve.
These segments are predefined by the selected
standard and you cannot change them.

If
you
select
the
User
standard
the
Building Type Criterion
screen will allow you to
define your own three criterion curves, segment
by segment.

To create new segment of the building type
criterion curve for the
User
defined standard,
open
the
Add
position
in
the
Building Type Criterion
screen.
