If you continue to turn and release the
knob, the indicated track number will de-
crease.

Fast-forwarding
Turn the “TRACK/TUNE” knob clockwise
and hold it continuously to fast-forward the
disc.
Release the knob to stop fast-forwarding.

Fast-reversing
Turn the “TRACK/TUNE” knob counter-
clockwise and hold it continuously to fast-
reverse the disc.
Release the knob to stop fast-reversing.

Repeat playback

To repeat the currently playing track
To repeat a track, briefly press the “RPT”
button while the track is playing. The dis-
play will show “RPT”, and the track will be
repeated.
To cancel the track-repeat-play mode,
press the “RPT” button twice. The “RPT”
indication will go off, and the normal play-
back mode will be resumed.
NOTE

The track-repeat-play mode will be
cancelled if you perform any of the fol-
lowing steps:

Select a mode other than CD.
y
Eject the CD.
y
Select the random playback func-
tion.
y
Select the disc-repeat-play (D-
RPT) mode.
y
Select a different CD for playback.
y
Each time you press the “RPT” but-
ton, the mode will change to the next
one in the following sequence. The se-
lected mode will be shown on the dis-
play.

To repeat the currently playing disc

1. To repeat the currently playing CD,
press the “RPT” button twice while a track
is playing. The display will show “D-RPT”,
and the CD will be played repeatedly.
2. To cancel the disc-repeat-play mode,
press the “RPT” button once more. The
“D-RPT” indication will go off, and the nor-
mal playback mode will be resumed.
