the tracks on the disc in a random order.
The display will show “RDM”, and all of the
tracks on the disc will be played in a ran-
dom order.
To cancel random playback, press the
“RDM” button again for at least one sec-
ond. The “RDM” indication will go off, and
the normal playback mode will be re-
sumed.
NOTE
Random playback will be cancelled if
you perform either of the following
steps:

Eject the CD.
y
Select the repeat-play mode.

To stop playback
Press the “ON/VOL” dial to switch the
power OFF, or select a different mode.
Alternatively, press the “
” button to
eject the CD.

To eject a CD
To eject a CD, press the “ ” button.
Playback will stop, and the CD will auto-
matically be ejected.
NOTE
y
Do not drive the vehicle with a CD
sticking out of the slot; vibration could
make it fall out.
y
It is possible to eject a CD with the ig-
nition switch in the “LOCK” position.
y
If you do not remove an ejected CD
from the slot within 15 seconds, it will
automatically be drawn back into the
player and the ejection will be can-
celled.

CD changer control (if option-
al CD changer is connected)
An optional CD changer can be connected
to the audio unit. We recommend that you
contact your SUBARU dealer for more in-
formation.

To start playback
Press the “CHR” button. Playback will be-
gin. The display shows “CHR”, and the
disc number and track number will be dis-
played.
NOTE
y
If the “CHR” button is pressed dur-
ing a radio broadcast, the CD changer
will interrupt the broadcast.
y
At the end of the disc, playback auto-
matically continues with the next disc.
