Program switching button (PROG)
When the program switching button
“TAPE” is pressed while a tape is being
played, the tape travel indicators will
switch and the player will begin playing
the opposite side of the tape. The same
mechanism is automatically activated
when the end of the tape is reached. This
allows the opposite side of the tape to
play, providing continuous listening.

Fast-forward (FF)
To fast-forward the tape, press the “ ”
button for more than one second. The dis-
play will show “
”. If the tape end is
reached while the tape is being fast-for-
warded, the player will automatically stop
the fast-forward operation and start play-
ing the other side of the tape.

Rewind (REW)
To rewind the tape, press the “ ” button
for more than one second. The display will
show “
”. If the tape end is reached
while the tape is being rewound, the play-
er will automatically stop the rewind oper-
ation and start playing the tape.

Eject button ( )
When the “ ” button is pressed, play-
back stops and the cassette is ejected.
The system switches to the audio source
that was selected before TAPE was se-
lected.
Always remove a cassette from the player
after ejecting it.
NOTE
The eject function can be used when
the ignition switch is in the “LOCK” po-
sition. Always remove a cassette from
the player after ejecting it.

Direct Program Search System
(DPSS)
When the DPSS is activated, the player
automatically detects spaces between
