SDLT Tape Drive LED Indicators
See the table below for the meanings of various LED indications.
The Drive Density LED
On the SDLT 600 drive, the left-most LED on the front of the
drive is a dual color LED, able to appear green or orange. This is the Drive Density
LED, which indicates the type of tape cartridge loaded in the drive, as well as its status.
These combinations are summarized in the Density Indicator table below.
