About RXT Media
Figure 1-3 shows the components of a RXT media pack.
RXT Media LEDs
Write Lock and Unlock Switch
Set the pack’s write switch before you load the RXT media pack into the RXT-150, because the switch is
recognized when the pack loads. If you set the switch while the pack is loaded, the change is not
recognized until the next time the pack is loaded. To set the switch, use a small flat-head screwdriver
to move the switch up or down. When the switch is up, the drive can write to the pack; when the switch
is down, the drive cannot write to the RXT media pack—it is write-protected.

Power LED
Green indicates that power is on. No light means no power.
Status LED
Green indicates the RXT media is OK. Amber indicates error.
Read LED
Green indicates that the RXT-150 is currently reading from RXT media.
Write LED
Green indicates the RXT-150 is writing to RXT media.
Amber indicates the RXT media is write-protected.
