• Optional: Storing RXT-150 firmware on RXT media packs, as a redundancy
safeguard, with
User Firmware
• Upgrading RXT-150 firmware so that the drive can read data on the RXT media
pack, using
Auto Firmware
stored on the pack
Upgrading RXT-150 Firmware
Upgrading a Single RXT-150
To update a RXT-150’s firmware, copy the updated firmware to a local host, then use
the Web interface to load the updated firmware onto the drive.
Download
firmware from
Spectra Logic’s
Web site to the
host.
Download the firmware from the
host to the RXT-150.

Optionally, repeat for every RXT-150 on your site.
Alternately, update other RXT-150 drives using the User Firmware option.
