Interpreting Flash Codes
Use the chart below to interpret the flash codes that appear on the digital display, then
follow any recommended steps. Use the Web interface, or optionally the serial
interface, to collect traces and diagnostic data. Contact SpectraGuard Support for help.
Code
Meaning Resolution
Powering On No action required; this indicates that the drive is powering on.
Booting No action required; this indicates that the drive is booting up.
Waiting No action required; this indicates that the drive is processing.
1 Cooling Problem
If regarding a RXT media pack, remove the pack and try reloading.
If regarding the RXT-150, cycle the power on the RXT-150.
2 Firmware Error
Gather traces and debug files using diagnostics and send to
SpectraGuard Support
3 RXT-150 Hardware Error
4 RXT Media Hardware Error
Use the Web interface to display General -> RXT Media ->
Show Advanced . Collect that information, along with the results of
traces and diagnostics, then send to SpectraGuard Support.

connection and cabling, then retry the operation. If the problem
persists, gather and send trace and debug files to SpectraGuard
Support.
