Press the

is on, the status indicators light in green respectively
and the unit starts, recalling the settings in effect at the
previous power off.
When the indicator(s) does not light even if you turn
the power on, the power supply unit may cause a
malfunction to occur. Set the POWER switch(es) to off
and contact your nearest Sony dealer.
When the SIU-100 is used, use POWER switch

.
POWER switch

is not enabled. It is also covered.
When a second power supply unit is added, switch

becomes enabled.
When the SIU-100T is used, the unit is started by
setting either of the two POWER switches to on. To
use the redundant power supply, set both switches
A

Notes
• Make sure you turn off the power of the unit and all
other devices before attempting to make any
connections.
• When several years have elapsed since your purchase
of the unit, the backup batteries in the unit may be
exhausted and the unit may not be able to recall the
settings in effect when you turned the power off
previously. In such a case, the “Backup Error”
message appears and the unit starts with the settings
that the unit have been stored in the non-volatile
memory as a backup when a scene was stored
previously.
For details, see “Error Messages” on page 148.
