When EXT-DI is selected and the DMBK-R109 MADI
board is selected as the reference signal, do not use
AUTO mode. The SIU-100/100T may not operate
correctly depending on the specification of the word
clock signal input to the MADI board.
About the video frequency AUTO mode
When EXT-VID is selected, if you specify AUTO, the
SIU-100/100T automatically detects the video
frequency and synchronizes with that frequency.
Design of the SYNC submenu

Setting status display mark
Indicates whether or not the settings on the SYNC
submenu are the ones currently set. If the settings are
changed, this mark disappears.

Sampling frequency
Displays and selects the sampling frequency.

SYNC submenu operation

Enter the SYNC submenu by displaying it on the
LCD.
The current settings are displayed.
The * mark indicates that the settings are the
current ones.
When the settings are changed in steps 2 and 3,
this mark disappears to indicate that the settings
will be changed.

Move the cursor to the lower row and select the
synchronous reference signal using the +/– buttons.
The synchronous reference signal changes in the
following sequence: INTERNAL

EXT-DI
y
EXT-WORD
y
EXT VID.
To select EXT-DI:
Move the cursor to the right pushing the
b
button
and specify the source channel.
To select EXT-VID:
Move the cursor to the right by pushing the
b
button and specify the video frequency.

Move the cursor to the upper row and specify the
sampling frequency using the +/– buttons.

Push the ENTER button.
“?” appears to ask you to confirm whether or not
the settings are to be changed.

Push the ENTER button again to change the
settings.
When settings are completed, the ? mark changes
to a * mark.
To cancel the settings
Push the CANCEL button instead of the ENTER
button.
The SIU-100/100T returns to the mode used to
select a submenu from the SETUP menu.
