Displays the status
of the VALIDITY
flag of the AES
signal.
Displays the CRC
check result of the
channels status of
the AES signal.
Displays the mode
of the digital audio
signal.
Displays the mode

Remarks
NORMAL: The
VALIDITY bit is zero.
INVALID: The VALIDITY
bit is one. In this case,
the signal is not
appropriate as an audio
signal.
NORMAL: No problems
ERROR: There are
problems. In this case,
“_ _ _ ” is displayed for
items following AUDIO.
There are devices that
do not add the correct
CRC code. For those
devices, if the DI PLL
and DATA items are
correct, there is no
problem, even if the
CRC item is not correct.
PRO: Audio signals from
devices for broadcasting
stations.
NON AUDIO: Not audio
signals.
CONSUMER: Audio
signals from consumer
devices.
Normally, 2CH or
STEREO is displayed.
In case a 88.2/96 kHz
sampling frequency, one
of “DOUBLE”, “MULTI”
or “NotIndicated” may
be displayed.
ON: Preemphasized.
OFF: Not
preemphasized. The
SIU-100/100T does not
have a deemphasis
function, thus the input
signal is routed to the
output as it is.
Displays the sampling
frequency of the digital
audio signal.
“NotIndicated” may be
displayed.
Displays the ORIGIN
information, composed
of 4 characters, which is
included in the channel
status.
Displays the
DESTINATION
information, composed
of 4 characters, which is
included in the channel
status.
Setting the channel status of the digital
output
The DO CH STATUS submenu allows you to set the
ORIGIN and DESTINATION information for the
channel status included in the output signal of the AES
digital output board inserted into the SIU-100/100T.
The ORIGIN and DESTINATION information is
composed of 4 characters respectively.
The following two modes are available to set the
information and either mode can be selected for each
item and channel.
• THRU mode
When the input routed to the output is AES digital
input, ORIGIN and DESTINATION information
included in that input are copied to the output signal.
When routing is changed, information output changes
automatically according to the newly routed input.
For outputs to which analog signals are routed or for
any inputs that are not routed (no sound output), all of
the bits become zero.
• EDIT mode
Outputs information as it has been set.
