System Fault Troubleshooting

Faults with Network Switches

These are errors detected when a fault occurs, such as a fan failure, that do not impact the network switch connectivity.

Error detection

•

A network switch error is detected and displayed on the [Notification] screen.

•

The network switch on which the error occurs changes to yellow on the [Network Topology Monitoring] screen.

Continuous operation

Continuous operation is supported as long as an error does not occur with the NSM server or IP converters.

Recovery method

•

Check the error details of the error message on the [Notification List] screen of Network System Manager, and check
the network switch.

•

If the network switch has failed, contact the sales representative for the network switch.
