Step 3: Installing an NSM Server
Register the following users.
• Register a user who will monitor daily status, such as
checking for disconnected cables.
[Manager] role is recommended.
• Register a user who will use the NSM-API, such as the
OR controller.
[Administrator] role is recommended.

Create an account for use in an emergency, as required.
[Operator] role is recommended.
Creating a new user account
Use the following procedure to create a new user account.

Click [Settings] > [User].
The [User List] screen appears.

On the [User List] screen, click the [Create] button
The [Create New User] dialog appears.

Configure the following parameters.
[User ID]: Enter a user ID.
[Role]: Select the operation authority granted to the
user.
[User Name]: Enter the display name for the user.
[Password]: Enter the login password.

Click the [Save] button.
The user account is registered, and is displayed in
[User List].
Registering a user account in a workgroup
You can use a workgroup by registering a user account in
the workgroup using the following procedure.

Click [Workgroup Settings] > [User Assign].
The [User Assign List] screen appears.

Select a user in [User List to Assign], and click the
button.
