Faults Due to System Errors
Error detection
A device error is detected and displayed on the [Notification] screen.
Recovery method

If error

occurs, restart the NSM server. If the error persists, contact your Sony sales representative.

If error

occurs, check that the license status is “Active” in [Settings] > [System] > [License] tab > [License List] in
Network System Manager. If the error persists, contact your Sony sales representative.

If error

occurs, check that a plug-in is installed in [Settings] > [Plug-in] > [Plug-in List] in Network System Manager.
If the plug-in is installed, restart the NSM server. If the error persists after restarting, contact your Sony sales
representative.
Faults Preventing Connection of IP Converters
Error detection
•
A device error is detected and displayed on the [Notification] screen.
•
The background color of the device icon of the IP converter on which the fault (error) occurs changes to yellow and a ×
mark is displayed on the icon on the [Network Topology Monitoring] screen.
Error messages

NMI Device Gateway is down.

Fatal error occurred while device plug-in starts. Please restart the system.

Generic device type is not registered. Please restart the system.

This system cannot use database. Please restart the system.
5
Some licenses are invalid status.

Plug-in file is uninstalled.
