An IP converter operates in DHCP mode in its initialized
state. For operation, the setting must be changed to a static
IP address. Set to a static IP address as described in
Settings according to the operation mode
Configure the settings according to the operation mode (safety priority/cost priority/uncompressed transmission priority)
determined in
“Determining the Operation Mode” (page 7)
.

Basic IP Converter Configuration
Operations
Configure the various settings of an IP converter using
Network System Manager.
IP converter settings are broadly divided into two types:
NMI (Networked Media Interface) device common
settings and IP converter-specific settings.
You can configure settings on the following screens.
• NMI device common settings: [Edit Virtual Device]
screen
• IP converter-specific settings: [Detail setting] screen
Use the following procedure to display each screen.
