Devices
This section describes how to connect an IP converter and
source/destination device.
Connecting to an SDI IP Converter
Connecting devices that support 4K image
signals
If connecting an IP converter to a source/destination
device that supports 4K signal input/output, use four SDI
cables as shown below. Connect the four SDI cables to the
SDI input/outputs A/B/C/D on the IP converter.
Connecting devices that support HD image
signals
If connecting an IP converter to a source/destination
device that supports HD signal input/output, use one SDI
cable as shown below. Connect the SDI cables to the SDI
input/output A on the IP converter.
Take care not to make a mistake when connecting SDI
cables.
Connecting to a DVI IP Converter
Connection with a source device
When connecting an IP converter to a source device,
connect the DVI input and HDMI input connectors of the
IP converter as shown in the following diagram.
You can also connect using a video interface other than
DVI/HDMI by attaching the supplied adapter to the IP
converter. For details, refer to the operating instructions
for the IP converter.
Connection with a destination device
When connecting an IP converter to a destination device,
connect the HDMI output connector of the IP converter as
shown in the following diagram.
