Step 4: Installing an IP Converter

Enabling/disabling the optical fiber cable
redundancy function

You can enable/disable the optical fiber cable redundancy
function.
Turn on the [Enable hitless failover] checkbox on the [I/O]
tab of the [Edit Virtual Device] screen to enable the
redundancy function. Turning off the checkbox disables
the redundancy function (default: off).

If the redundancy function is enabled, it must also be
enabled in the Network GenLock mode settings

.

Enabling 4K uncompressed transmission
(SDI IP converters)

You can enable the uncompressed transmission of 4K
video.
This configuration can be enabled only for an IP converter
configured for connection with a source device

.

Select [Uncompressed] under [4K Quality] on the [Video]
tab of the [Detail setting] screen.

Disabling 4K uncompressed transmission

Select [Standard] under [4K Quality] on the [Video] tab of
the [Detail setting] screen.

Enabling 4K uncompressed transmission
(DVI IP converters)

You can enable the uncompressed transmission of 4K
video.
This configuration can be enabled only for an IP converter
configured for connection with a source device

Select [Uncompressed] under [4K Quality] on the
[Video] tab of the [Detail setting] screen.

Select [HDMI] under [Video] > [Standard].

4K uncompressed transmission is enabled for HDMI
only.
