Executing a Transition
Setting the Transition Rate
You can set the rate of an auto transition, by specifying the duration as the
number of frames required. Use the following procedure to set the transition
rate before pressing the AUTO TRANS button to carry out an auto transition.
To set the transition rate, first specify the bank or keyer for which you wish
to carry out the setting, then enter the numeric value from the numeric
keypad section.

Setting the transition rate for the M/E banks or PGM/PST bank
Use the following procedure.

Press the TRANS RATE button in the numeric keypad section.

Press the sub-register selection button corresponding to the bank for
which you wish to set the new transition rate, turning it on.
M/E-1 and M/E-2 buttons: M/E banks
P/P DSK button: PGM/PST bank
This displays the transition duration set for the selected bank in the
numeric keypad section.

Enter the required number of frames for the transition duration.

Press the ENTER button.
This confirms the entered value, which appears in the display of the
numeric keypad section.
The set duration also appears in the corresponding FRAMES display.
