9.2 Conversion instructions for non-"Facescan ready" units

Laying a new cable conduit
For support refer to the GALILEOS Service Manual
1. Attach the new cable conduit to the ring.
2. Route cables L78(L73) and L78(L74) as shown on the duct to the
ring.
3. Screw the grounding strap (E) to the ring tightly.
4. Screw down the plate (P) with the laser module.
5. Route cable L78(L73) to the image intensifier.
6. Screw down the grounding strap (F) in a bow (see illustration) onto
the image intensifier.
NOTICE
Possible laying errors
The laying of cables L78(L73) and L78(L74) in the arm is significant in
terms of EMC.
➢ Route cables L78(L73) and L78(L74) as shown in the arm to the
ring.
