7.3 Connecting to SIDEXIS

➢ In the menu bar, select the menu item
"CONFIGURATION"
.
The
"Facescan Configuration"
window opens.
Starting the configuration
1.
When selecting with DHCP:
Set the
"DHCP State"
field to
"On"
.
or
➢
When selecting without DHCP:
Set the
"DHCP State"
field to
"Off"
.
2. In the
"IP Adresse"
field, enter the desired IP address (factory
setting: 192.168.16.240).
3. In the
"Netmask"
field, enter the desired subnet mask (factory
setting: 255.255.255.0).
Completion / Configuration
Completing the configuration
➢ Confirm the configuration with the
"Configure Network"
button.
The Facescan restarts with the modified settings.

7.3
Connecting to SIDEXIS
Prerequisites
At least SIDEXIS XG V 2.5.3 or SIDEXIS 4 V 4.1.1 must be installed.
Installation
1. Insert the FaceScan USB stick in a SIDEXIS work station connected
with the SIDEXIS network.
2. Open the FaceScan USB stick with the file manager.
3. Open the "Setup" folder on the FaceScan USB stick.
4. Start the application "Setup.exe" by double-clicking on it.
The setup program starts.
5. Follow the instructions of the setup program.
6. When the setup program has ended, start the
"Facescan
Configuration"
application in the SIDEXIS Manager.
The
"Facescan configuration"
dialog box appears.
