The
"Facescan configuration"
dialog box opens.
1. Press the
"New device"
button.
A password dialog box appears.
2. Enter "service" in the user field.
3. Enter "sirona" in the password field.
4. Confirm the password dialog.
5. In the
"Name:"
text field, name the respective FaceScan unit.
6. In the
"HTTP address:"
text field, enter the IP address of the
FaceScan.
7. In the
"MAC address:"
text field, enter the MAC address of the
FaceScan.
8. In the
"GALILEOS:"
selection field, select the GALILEOS unit on
which the FaceScan is installed.
9. Confirm your settings by pressing the
"OK"
button.

Calibration
Explanation
Essentially, once the Facescan has been installed, a re-calibration of the
GALILEOS unit has to be performed.
The Facescan is automatically calibrated during the 3D calibration of
GALILEOS using the 3D calibration phantom (A).
Prerequisites
● The FaceScan has been correctly assigned to the GALILEOS (via
FaceScan configuration).
Calibration
The calibration is performed with the geometric calibration of GALILEOS
(see the GALILEOS Installation Instructions).
