mounting surface with the feeler gauge.
If the gap is too large, mounting surface
of the underframe is disqualified and
must be reported to Quality Department
for confirmation for fear of deformation
of the rotary support after tightening of
bolts and occurrence of abnormal sound.
The gap shall be ≤0.2mm.
2. Use high-strength washers matching the
high-strength bolts, make the washer
plane fit the mounting surface, apply
Loctite 272 thread locker to bolts and
install them one by one.
3. Pre-tighten bolts in the order as
illustrated in Figure 3-12 in two steps
(the first pre-tightening torque is 30% the
standard
torque and the second
pre-tightening torque is 60% the standard
torque) and tighten with standard torque
finally.

4. Rotate the rotary support inner race to
confirm whether it moves smoothly.
5. Remove lifting equipment from the
rotary support.
6. Lift the turntable onto mounting surface
of the rotary support and make sure the
line on the rotary support inner race
aligns with that on the turntable.
7. Use high-strength washers matching the
high-strength bolts, make the washer
plane fit the mounting surface, apply
thread locker to bolts and install them
one by one.
8. Pre-tighten bolts in the order as
illustrated in “Figure 3-12 of Tightening
Sequence of Rotary Support Bolts” in
two steps (the first pre-tightening torque
is 30% the standard torque and the
second pre-tightening torque is 60% the
standard torque) and tighten with
standard torque finally.
9. Connect hydraulic pipes to the rotary
joint by the mark made before removal.
10. Install fixing bracket of the rotary joint,
fasten bolts and apply Loctite 242
sealant.
11. Reconnect hydraulics pipes to relevant
ports that are disconnected in the process
of removal.
12. Withdraw the traveling crane.
13. Operate control panel on the ground, and
lower the main boom with main boom
lifting controller to the retracted position.
14. Take all appropriate safety preventive
measures to start the hydraulic system
and check whether the system can
operate safely and normally.

1. Put the assembly on the working table
and keep the motor end upward.
