prevent the risks of rim getting loose, bolts
rupturing and tires separating from the
axle. Nuts suitable for the wheel taper angle
can be used only.
The nuts shall be tightened to proper torque to
prevent wheels from getting loose. Fasteners
shall be tightened with torque spanner. If you
do not have a torque spanner, please tighten
the fasteners with socket spanner and then
immediately go to the service station or the
dealer to have the nuts tightened to correct
torque. Excessive tightening will cause
rupture of the bolt or permanent deformation
of the bolt hole on the wheel.
Correct steps to tighten rims are as below:
1. First apply Loctite 272 to bolts and nuts,
and then manually tighten all nuts to
prevent disorder of threads. Please do not
apply lubricating oil to thread or nut.
2. Please tighten nuts in the following
sequence:

3. Nuts shall be tightened in steps. Please
tighten nuts in the recommended
sequence according to the table of wheel
torque.

4. Tire nuts shall be tightened before first
time road running and after every time
removal of a tire. Torque shall be
checked and adjusted every 3 months or
every 150 hours of running.
3.2 Removal of Drive Motor
After marking of the pipeline, disconnect
connection with the drive motor.
Remove mounting bolts of the drive
motor.
Remove hydraulic motor from the
reducer.
3.3 Removal of Reducer

1. Put the equipment over a solid and
horizontal ground.
2. Put appropriate jack under the equipment
underframe at the side to be removed and
elevate the jack until wheels are above
the ground.
3. Remove bolts and washers fixing the
wheel onto the reducer. Use proper lifting
equipment to remove the wheel.
4. Mark and remove hydraulic rubber hose
connected to the traveling motor and seal
up all opening to prevent entry of dust
into the hydraulic system.
5. Remove mounting bolts of motor and
remove the motor.
6. Support the traveling reducer with proper
lifting equipment.
7. Remove bolts and washers fixing the
traveling reducer onto the outrigger and
remove the traveling reducer.
