GN70/MX610/MX612 Operator and Installation Manual

GN70/MX61x Software Update Procedure using a PC

Copy the *.upd file to your PC (not a network location).

Connect the GN70/MX61x directly to your computer with a LAN network cable.

Completely cut the 12-24 VDC power to the MX61x unit by using the power supply switch or
circuit breaker.

Press and hold down the

PAGE

button (top left button above the rotary) and apply external

power to the unit.

Launch the Internet Explorer (or other web browser) and type the address as shown on the
MX61x (i.e. http://192.168.0.1).

Browse to the file on your PC.

Click on upload.

The display unit will start the update process automatically after the upload.
