GN70/MX610/MX612 Installation and Installation Manual
Settings dialog and submenus
The system is configured and most system settings defined during installation and
commissioning of the system.
The settings parameters are logically grouped, and each group is presented with an icon in the
Settings page. This page is accessed by pressing the
MENU
key, highlight the Tools & Settings
then press the knob (or
ENT
). A settings menu map is shown below:

AIS settings
Used to enter the MMSI number of the vessel, set the icon filters
to show or hide vessel targets and set limits for dangerous
vessels based on distance or time of closest point of approach
(CPA).
Alerts settings
This screen is used to manage and control the alert
feature. Press the
PAGE
key to change tabs
-Settings tab is used to turn on/off alerts and set
limits.
-History tab lists all previous alerts.
-Active tab shows alerts that are still active. The alert
is removed from the list when the cause is corrected.
