ADVIA 1800 Operator’s Guide

CAUTION

Tests on the Print Report form must be in the same order as they appear in the
System Test List window to avoid incorrect positioning of results on the print
report. Do not modify the order of the test names on the System Test List window
after the initial setup. If you reposition any test names on the System Test List
window after initial setup, results for samples already run could be associated with
the wrong test name.

Lab Results Converter (LRC)

The LRC module is included with the ADVIA 1800 Chemistry software, and must be
installed by Siemens authorized personnel. The LRC converts Patient, Controls, and QC
Results reports into 5-column format.

Setup to Use LRC

1. At the Menu Panel, select Maint., then select System Monitor.

2. In the Realtime monitor section of the System Monitor window, select Simplicity
(Conc.).

Printing and/or Generating a PDF from the LRC

1. At the Menu Panel, select Request, then select RealTime Monitor.

NOTE

You can view and print data only after all results for a sample are completed.

At the RealTime Monitor window, the latest tests display in the window on the left.

2. Select the Date to display a test with a different date to monitor.

3. Select a Sample # from the list to display the specific data for a selected test.

Each test display consists of concentration, mark, and information.

Selecting a sample while holding down the Ctrl key allows more than one sample to be
selected.

4. To print the test monitor information, select Print. To specify a range to print, enter a
Start and Finish line number.

5. To save the test monitor information to a file, select Save to File. The Save as dialog
box opens and saves the file to C:\A002\LRC\Reports.

6. Select Save. A PDF is generated and/or printed.

7. Close the window.

Statistics window*

Use this window to print statistics related to analysis results.

Correlation window*

Use this window to create and display correlation charts and the data that displays in the
charts.
