4. Connect the 15.2-cm (6-inch) Serial (RS-232) cable to the instrument and

connector as shown in Figure 4 above (3).

5. Connect the white plug of the 7.6-cm (3-inch) DC power cable to the

connector and the black plug to the instrument as shown (1).

6. There are two options to connect the system to the network:

•

Insert an optional wireless card into the rear USB port as shown
(2).

•

Insert the Ethernet network cable into the RJ45 port and connect
the other cable end to a LAN socket.

7. Plug in the power supply adaptor to the connector and then to an AC

electrical wall outlet (4).

•

If the software version on your instrument is

≥

2.0, proceed to

Step 8 below.

•

If you run analyzer software version 1.9 or lower, upgrade the
software to the latest version. Refer to the software upgrade
instructions in the Clinitek Status Software Upgrade Kit.

8. To turn the instrument on, press the on/off button.
