Installing the flywheel magnet

Install the base

 and stator assembly

, and then install the pulser coil

Install the Woodruff key 

4

, flywheel

magnet

, and washer

, and then

tighten the nut

 to the specified torque.

NOTICE: 

Apply force in the direction

of the arrow to prevent the flywheel
holder from slipping off easily.

TIP:

Make sure to remove any grease from the
tapered portion

inner surface

 of the flywheel magnet

Install the manual starter and driven
sprocket cover. See “Installing the man-
ual starter” (7-10). (Manual starter

Install the flywheel magnet cover and
